Yoga for Jiu-Jitsu Yoga for Jiu-Jitsu is for everyone, but it is specifically designed for the needs of BJJ and MMA fighters. Yoga for Jiu-Jitsu provide: Fearless Flexibility, Functional Core Strength, Focused Breathing, Yoga for Jiu-Jitsu provide: Fearless Flexibility, Functional Core Strength, Focused Breathing, Balance & Counterbalance, Emotional intelligence, Mental Edge Agility, Relaxation and Recovery.
Beginner Jiu-Jitsu Regular classes on Tue and Thur are open to all levels of Jiu-Jitsu students for training. These classes will teach the basic concepts and core techniques of GI & No GI Jiu-Jitsu. Students are required to have GI
Advance Jiu-Jitsu GI & NO-GI These classes on Mon. Tue. Wed. and Thur. are open to all intermediate levels and above, as well as all seasoned competitors. These classes are to examine and lean the more in depth and advanced techniques of Gi & No Gi Jiu-Jitsu.
Judo Techniques Judo is known for its spectacular throwing techniques but also includes numerous techniques for controlling an opponent while on the ground. Judo is often compared to freestyle wrestling and while the two share many techniques, Judo retains many dangerous self-defense maneuvers. A good judoka, one who practices Judo, will first use timing and leverage to bring his opponent off balance and execute a throw. Once the judoka has thrown his opponent to the ground, he will use painful hold-down techniques, chokes, strangleholds, and armlocks to control and submit the opponent.
MMA Mon and Wed. classes are open to all Jiu-Jitsu, Boxing and MMA students. This class is to introduce the application of basic Jiu-Jitsu/Wrestling in MMA and also to focus on cardiovascular/strength training. Students are required to have a mouth guards, MMA and Boxing gloves. Sparring is reserved for the instructor's discretion.
Boxing Tue and Thurs classes are to help students learn the stand-up techniques to help supplement their Jiu-Jitsu training for self-defense or later moving into MMA practice. Students are required to have a mouth guard for sparring, and a pair of 16 oz boxing gloves.
